While we look forward to an exciting 2020, at the end of each year we always like to take a look back and highlight some of the most memorable experiences and achievements from the past 12 months.
Epilog Challenge X
2019 started off with Epilog Challenge X, the 10th installment of the popular contest hosted on instructables.com. This year’s winner was 19-year-old Nikodem Bartnik for his "DIY 3D Printed Dremel CNC" project. Nikodem won a 30-watt Zing 16 Laser system, air compressor, and vector cutting grid.
Fusion Pro Launch
In February of 2019 we launched the Fusion Pro Laser Series at the International Awards and Personalization Expo in Las Vegas! These highly-anticipated systems introduced the industry’s highest-speed engraving (up to 165 inches per second) and Epilog’s new IRIS™ Camera System.
Around this same time, we also unveiled a new and exciting corporate brand identity including a redesign of our website, logo, graphics, communications, and correspondence. The response to our rebranding campaign has been incredible!
In addition to adding new products to our laser lineup, we also introduced an 80-watt laser option for our Helix and Fusion Pro model laser systems. We’re very excited to offer this new option for customers who are looking for a mid-size to larger-format laser system, as it will allow them to tackle more projects even faster!
Epilog Laser Training Suite
To ensure our users get the very most from their laser systems, proper training and education are paramount. That’s why in 2019 we completely overhauled and relaunched our comprehensive online training suite to include updated videos and tutorials on all our current products. Content on the training suite includes everything from unboxing your laser to setting up exhaust to running your very first project. We even include common maintenance issues like cleaning your system.
Holiday Toy Drive
To round out the year we conducted our annual toy drive for the Holiday Shop at the Action Center. Between our main production facility, sales and marketing building, and technical support building, we collected hundreds toys and were able to raise an additional $650 to buy even more toys for children in Jefferson County.
Looking Forward to 2020
It’s been an exciting year of additions and upgrades, but we couldn’t do it all without our amazing teams at our corporate headquarters, Canadian office, and European sales and distribution center. This year we added 17 new members to our staff around the world!
We are incredibly thankful for a great year at Epilog Laser. With 2020 a mere days away, we are excited to see what the New Year brings. In the meantime, we wish our customers, employees, distributors, and industry friends a Merry Christmas and happy holiday season, and a joyful and prosperous new year.
